Life on a Leash

If you've made it this far, you're free to rest, but not for too long. After an hour or two the cold starts to settle in, the day goes stale. Nerves are fried and they're not coming back, not when whole day is at stake; Best now to stay frozen and stare ahead as the night consumes you. Just a bit further... Sweet release. serenity. order. You can eat dinner now. Let it all in.  The perfect human is the kind who contains both elements, masculine and feminine. To automate this process means rejecting incompatible external currents if it. If one is incapable of resistance, this means withdrawal. If not, one has to actively conquer these influences. Not passively, unless one hopes to retain integrity in isolation and leave no record. Instead, physically affect the outside currents and replace them. The difficulty of this is compound, and it runs aga...

Pseudonostalgia and Generalizations

Any observations must be withheld until a root cause is identified. But most people are not scientists. They are still ignorant and make assumptions. So they will jump at the first root cause, and if they find they've misidentified it, which usually they have, they are inclined to say: "It's complicated." No it isn't. Simply say the elements correspond. In most cases any continuous relationship can be assumed to be a feedback loop. No need to name a root cause unless it is called for. Generalizations are necessary to make descriptions and withholding them takes up time. In many cases it's impractical to distinguish between processes. For example, the relationship between emotional health and physical health is often so interwoven with so much back and forth that at...
